Mobile and education go hand in hand.

We are very excited to announce that two valuable members of the Aurnhammer team — our CEO Bill Aurnhammer and COO Donn Gobin — are invited to teach a class on the business aspect of mobile industry in New York University, School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Offered in Fall 2013, The Business Side of iOS App Development is designed for independent mobile developers working on a shoestring budget. Bill and Donn will share their professional knowledge and opinions regarding the booming touchscreen industry. They refuse to build mobile apps out of easier, cheaper templates, because they insist on the philosophy that best mobile solutions should go along with clients’ broader marketing strategies.

As an experienced developer, Bill has a unique vision in the mobile business that leads Aurnhammer along the innovative path in technology. He is deeply involved in all client projects as the team’s go-to thinktank. Donn’s background in entertainment expands the company’s way of thinking. With past experience in television and film  production and creative management, Donn is skillful in maximizing resources and overseeing production initiatives.

From a long-time collaboration in mobile, Bill and Donn understand that achieving consumer awareness and sales longevity for applications requires organizational and strategic planning that stands out in the crowded marketplace. They are more than happy to offer a course to help iOS developers better deal with the challenge of bringing market elegant and efficient solutions to strong customer needs. Whether the application faces individual consumers or businesses, the course’s framework gives it the best recommendations of succeeding in Appstore.

Based on the day-to-day working process, Bill and Donn structured the course around the basic steps of mobile app production. From brainstorming to launching to maintenance, each class will introduce concepts and tools that have been validated by the Aurnhammer team. The students will also get first-hand mobile knowledge from field trips and professional speakers events.

“We have gone through puzzled phases when we first entered the mobile industry,” said Bill, “So we want to shed light on the paths of new mobile developers to help them create applications that has potential user demand, creates values for businesses, and proves technically feasible.”

Come join Bill and Donn to learn how to successfully market your mobile inspirations!
